I was pretty busy for the last while and haven't posted anything in the meantime, so I figured I'd publish a brief overview of what I've been up to.
Thailand
My partner and I visited Thailand back in May. A lot of the travel advice for the country centered on how hot it would be and the importance of staying hydrated. We were traveling from one of the hotter cities in India, so while it was still hot and humid, it was actually a break from the higher temperatures to which we are accustomed.
We had a great time trying lots of different thai dishes, swimming in the clear ocean water, and drinking lots of fresh coconut water. I think the major highlight for me was visiting the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary, though. They give tours to the public to raise money so they can continue to care for their herd of elderly elephants, and to rescue more elephants from abusive situations.
Their guides accompanied us as we walked through the jungle, introducing each of the elephants, sharing their names, their circumstances before coming to live at the sanctuary, and how each of them prefer to spend their days.

Moving cities
Someone close to me landed a year-long contract abroad, and they needed someone to take care of their apartment in the meantime, so my partner and I are now temporary residents of Mumbai. It's by far the most populous city in which I have ever lived, with an estimated 22 Million residents.
I prefer the coastal climate to that of the hotter city where I was living previously, though it does take more effort to control the moisture levels in the apartment. It's currently the monsoon season, so it rains a lot every day, but we have a dehumidifier which keeps everything comfortable.
I might have more updates about the city once we've lived here longer, but so far I'm really enjoying having access to fresh seafood.

Shows
I had listed a bunch of shows on my now page, but they've all since had their finales.
I also finished a number of other series that never even made it onto that section of the page:
Movies
As per usual, I tend to watch more shows than movies, so here is a much shorter list of the few I remember finishing:
Jerry and Marge Go Large: cute, funny, and I always like the occasional true story of some clever nerd figuring out a flaw in a lottery system.
Rogue One: I saw this years ago, but had completely forgotten its plot until somebody reminded me that it featured Cassian Andor from the Andor series. It was interesting rewatching it with that deeper context.
Down Periscope (mostly because we'd finished watching the last ship, and the whole navy aesthetic reminded me of this old movie from my childhood.
Mickey 17: I liked it. The concept reminded me of a sci-fi book I read as a teenager called Expendable.
